SWE Radar
the job feed I wanted, so I built it
Job boards bury the roles you can actually apply to under senior titles and places you cannot work. SWE Radar is a local desktop app: press Refresh, and it shows only the fresh postings that fit, newest first.

It pulls postings from public job APIs such as Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and SmartRecruiters, plus a few large employers, for a window from three hours to two days. Duplicates collapse, and a cache means a posting is only ever read once.
One TypeSafe Jev call per posting answers the questions a keyword filter gets wrong: the real seniority, the minimum years the role requires, and where it can actually be done. Answers are validated before they count, so a bad reply drops out instead of slipping through. Titles say one thing; descriptions often say another.
Each card can produce a resume and a cover letter tailored to that role, rendered as one page PDFs. The rewrite may only reword what my master resume already says, it must keep every bullet in order and within length, and links are kept verbatim. An Ask panel drafts answers to application questions from my profile and the job description, and says so plainly when the profile has nothing relevant.
The API key is encrypted with the macOS Keychain and never shown again. Spend is estimated in the app. Applied roles are marked and remembered, and an empty feed gets a little radar instead of a blank page.
